I worked at Burger Chef in Orange, Texas from 1977-1979. The location was located on the "Circle" in Orange. I started out as a crew person and six months later I was running the night shift while attending high school. I work for owners Melvin and Robert Brown. I worked with Barbara Moore, started dating and then married her in 1979. We are still married today. I want to thank the Brown's for a great experience and will never forget the good times we had there. I just wish I had a Big Chef right about now.

A major point worth noting is that the voice talent for Burger Chef of Burger Chef and Jeff was none other than Paul Winchell who also provided the voice of Tigger in the Pooh movies.

I remember Burger Chef and Jeff, the building located at 21st and Post. on the Eastside of Indpls. IN. As a kid I remember wanting to go there alot, and begging my parents, especially after a run to the grocery MARSH. I always wanted the kids meal, this was about the same time I thought McD's started the happy meal. Love'in the nostalgia!!!!!!! The building that was Burger Chef, is still there!!!!!!!

I lived in Charleston apts. right behind the Burger Chef in the 1100 th block of N, Shadeland. This was our hangout for all the kids in Charleston apts. I had some of my best memories in this burger chef, We hung out every day in this restaurant, especially in the summer! ( 1973-1979 )The Charleston gang had our own special corner in the back by the restrooms. We had a blast hanging out there, lots of food fights ( low key of course) LOL.... and few other crazy things I won't mention ......alot of making out w/ the boys, smoking ciggerettes ( thought we were so cool back then!) I miss the good old days!

I enjoyed the BC in Huntsville AL on South Parkway. I do recall the 1st Fun meals and the "fixins" bar. They were ahead of their time.

I remember eating at the E-Town location as a kid. The building is still there, it houses a gift shop. Do you have any photos of it. I am a photographer, as a hobby, and I enjoy old photos of old buildings. I enjoyed your collection. Thank you.

I like the site but too bad they are no longer around and I was born too late (mid-1970's). I like the food and I never got the chance to taste it.
